Anti-Hate Speech and Conduct Policy

The Universal Ethics Foundation, a nonprofit organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and ethical purposes, is committed to fostering an environment that upholds respect, human dignity, and universal moral principles.

The Foundation strictly prohibits hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or conduct that promotes or incites violence, hostility, or harm against any individual or group. This prohibition applies to actions or expressions based on, or perceived to be based on, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.

This policy applies to all individuals acting on behalf of or in connection with the Foundation, including but not limited to directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, speakers, partners, members, and participants in Foundation-sponsored programs, events, publications, or digital platforms.

The Foundation reserves the right, in furtherance of its charitable mission and compliance obligations, to review, moderate, restrict, or remove any content or conduct that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be inconsistent with this policy. Corrective actions may include warnings, removal of content, suspension or termination of participation, or revocation of affiliation, as deemed appropriate.

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict lawful expression outside the scope of Foundation activities. Rather, this policy establishes standards of conduct required for participation in and association with the Foundation in order to protect its mission, public trust, and nonprofit status.

By participating in, engaging with, or representing the Universal Ethics Foundation, individuals acknowledge and agree to comply with this Anti-Hate Speech and Conduct Policy.

No Private Benefit / Political Limitation Clause


No part of the net earnings of the Foundation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to, its directors, officers, members, or other private persons, except that the Foundation shall be authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered. The Foundation shall not participate in, or intervene in, any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.

 

Dissolution Clause


Upon dissolution of the Foundation, assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or to the federal government, or to a state or local government, for a public purpose.

Privacy Policy

The Universal Ethics Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and personal information of our donors, supporters, volunteers, program participants, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, safeguard, and disclose information in accordance with applicable laws and ethical best practices.

The Foundation may collect personal information voluntarily provided to us, including but not limited to names, mailing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and donation or transaction details. Information may be collected through donations, event registrations, program participation, newsletter sign-ups, or other forms of engagement with the Foundation.

Personal information collected by the Foundation is used solely for legitimate organizational purposes, including:

  • Processing donations and issuing acknowledgments or tax receipts

The Foundation does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information for commercial or marketing purposes.

While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect personal data.

 

Donor Privacy

 

The Universal Ethics Foundation respects donor privacy and does not publicly disclose donor names or donation amounts without explicit consent, except as required by law.

 

Access and Corrections

 

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or removal of their personal information by contacting the Foundation directly, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.

Human Rights and Religious Freedom Statement

The Universal Ethics Foundation affirms the inherent dignity and equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family, as recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We uphold the principle that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights, without distinction of any kind.

In accordance with Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Foundation recognizes and supports the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. This includes the freedom to have or adopt a religion or belief of one’s choice, as well as the freedom, either individually or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance.

The Universal Ethics Foundation further affirms that these freedoms must be exercised with respect for the rights and freedoms of others, consistent with Articles 1, 2, and 29 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We oppose all forms of discrimination, coercion, intolerance, or persecution based on religion, belief, or non-belief, and are committed to promoting ethical responsibility, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence in a diverse and pluralistic society
